Sunday Sermon, July 15 – 11 AM: But Are You Happy?

Led by Spirit of Life UUs Lifespan Religious Education chair and lay leader Angi Nagel, and inspired by a sermon by Scott Alexander, we’ll explore the right to be happy. Noting that happiness is declared an “inalienable right” in the Declaration of Independence, Angi asks, ” But, is having a happy life a CHOICE, or is it an accident? ”

Adult discussion and youth programs begin at 10am. In our Youth LRE program, we’ll be exploring ” Seeing Others with Awe”.  In Adult Discussion, we’ll be examining ”The Ethics of Humor” – Prepare to laugh, as we share some interesting jokes, and to think, as we consider whether they have ethical or moral implications.

Join us for a Potluck lunch after the service.   All are welcome!
