On Saturday, June 29, Spirit of Life UU members take their place along fellow Unitarian Universalists from around 
Tampa Bay and thousands of others from around the Bay area and Florida to Stand on the Side of Love at the St. Petersburg Pride Parade. Following on the heels of the rejection of DOMA as unconstitutional, and the Senate taking a positive stand on Comprehensive Immigration Reform, it’s a good weekend for celebrating Justice, Equity and Compassion!
If you’d like to join in the celebration, you can find us and other UUs at booth number 414E at the St. Pete Pride 2013 Street Festival and Promenade at the Grand Central District, stretching from 21st Street to 28th Street on Central Ave in St. Petersburg. The event runs from 9am to 3pm.
You’ll be able to spot us with our banner, and our tie-dyed shirts, made by our kids last Sunday, and by the joy on our faces!
