Guest speaker Trinda Latherow joins us this Sunday at 11am, to share her thoughts on “Making the Mind-Body-Spirit Connection.”
After the birth of her daughter and soon after death of her mother, Trinda stepped upon a path of mysteries and miracles in a quest for answers to some of life’s biggest questions. “Who are we, where did we come from, and why are we here?” Along the way, she met world-renowned psychics, scientists, doctors, authors, artists, and gifted laypeople who each held some valuable piece of the puzzle to our existence. She has been writing and speaking of her experiences ever since.
Previously addressing the mind and body as a safety and health professional, Trinda is now focusing on the mind, body, and spirit of us as an author, speaker, and consultant. She is the founder of Meet and Make a Connection, an inspirational mind, body, spirit blog with hundreds of free writings, featured guests, podcasts and much more.
Youth and adult program begin at 10am. In our Community Conversations adult discussion program, we’ll be considering the “Contagion of Violence. ” In June, a new study came out on how conflict has affected adolescents in southern Israel. As time went on, the researchers found, kids exposed to rocket attacks and terrorism weren’t much more anxious or depressed than their peers. But they were more violent. Join us to consider how we become violent and what we might do to change that dynamic.
