Sunday Sermon November 17 at 11am: Thanksgiving on East Point

Visiting minister, Rev. Don Rollins, shares his thoughts on”Thanksgiving on East Point” . Originally written by Spirit of Life UU’s  Minister Emeritus, Rev. Alec Craig, Don Rollins will share his adaptation of a one-man presentation on family, aging and gratitude.

Youth and adult programs begin at 10am.  In our adult Community Conversations group, the Keystone Book Club leads our 3rd Sunday discussion group, this month with a look at the book, Conscious Capitalism by Whole Foods Market cofounder John Mackey and professor and Conscious Capitalism, Inc. cofounder Raj Sisodia.  The authors argue for the inherent good of both business and capitalism, asserting these two forces can—and do—work most powerfully to create value for all stakeholders: including customers, employees, suppliers, investors, society, and the environment. We’ll consider and discuss!  It’s not necessary to have read the book to enjoy the discussion.

Join us for our third Sunday Potluck after service!
