Sunday Sermon December 15 at 11am: Transforming Suffering

Rev. Nick Ozuna

Visiting minister Rev. Nick Ozuna leads a service on “Transforming Suffering” at 11am. “The Buddha teaches that we create our own suffering, “says Rev. Ozuna, “but we can also use that suffering to create happiness.  Through the application of the Four Noble Truths, we can learn how to make the best of life’s conditions.”

Youth and adult discussions begin at 10am. Keystone Book Club leads our third Sunday Community Conversations with a look at The Garden of Evening Mists,  by Tan Twan Eng.  While having read the book of the month enriches the book club experience, our discussions of the topics and issues raised by the books we read can be appreciated by all and participation is welcome whether or not you’ve read the book.

This is also our third Sunday Potluck – all are welcome!
