In our Community Conversations Adult Discussion program, we’ll look at the The Evolution of Faith – “Every piece of social data suggests that those who favor faith and superstition over fact-based evidence will become the minority in this country by or before the end of this century,” says the media company, Alternet, in a recent article. Citing the 2008 American Religious Identification Survey, the number of Americans who don’t believe in a deity doubled in the last decade, with religious non-belief in the U.S. inching above 16 percent in 2013. We’ll consider what that might mean for society, and for Unitarian Universalism.
