Sunday Service October 26: Day of the Dead

Lay leader  Tobi Weisbond leads on a journey through Dia De Los Muertas, Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday observed through-out Mexico and around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. Everyone is encouraged to bring a photo of a loved one and share a brief story with the congregation for this intergenerational service for all ages.

Our Community Conversations adult discussion program begins at 10am, in the Kerwin Reading Room adjacent to the kitchen. This Sunday, we’ll look at fear, what’s real, and what’s not, and why we still celebrate Halloween.
