Sunday Service May 3, 11am: “What would it take to Feel Rich? Or, Where your Treasure is, Your heart will be, also.”

Rev. Rus Cooper Dowda asks us, “What would it take to feel rich? ” Conversely, she notes, “Where your treasure is, your heart will be also”

“For some it is a certain amount of stocks, bonds, certificates or investment property”, she says. ” For others it is orange juice in the refrigerator they can afford to drink in any amount any time of any day. What leads you to feel well off in your own life? What is your go-to comfort at the end of a not-so-great day? Bring your treasure or a representation of it with you if you like. You’ll be able to share without judgement. Yep, that old not-quite-so stuffed as it used to be Teddy Bear qualifies.”

Our adult Sunday Morning Community Conversations group meets each Sunday at 10am in the Kerwin Reading Room next to the kitchen.  Youth LRE begins at 11:30am after the children’s story time in the service.
