Sunday Sermon August 23 11am: Happiness is…

happinessGuest minister, Rev. Katie Korb, shares the sermon, “Happiness is…” International surveys suggest that Americans are the second least happy people in the world, she observes, surpassed only by the Japanese and yet we pursue it as a matter of right. What is happiness, and can we achieve it?

Along those lines, at 10 am in our Adult Discussion session, we’ll look at The Geography of Bliss which was one of our Keystone Book Club reads not long ago, and consider the happiness in our own backyard.
Youth LRE programs are ended for the summer, but there are plenty of opportunities for youth to spend meaningful time together and with congregations members in service and in social time together.
