Sunday Sermon Sept. 6 11am: A Labor Day Medley

labor dayFor our 11 am Sermon,  Rev. Roy Sniffen leads us on a “A Labor Day Medley” ,  with words and music from America’s unions and, of course, recipes from the Mother Jones Cookboook.

In Adult Discussion, at 10am, we’ll consider Jack Kerouac’s take on kindness – “We are never as kind as we want to be, but nothing outrages us more than people being unkind to us.” – and its relevance today.

In our Youth Lifespan Religious Exploration program, starting after the Story for All Ages, around 11:30am, we’ll be having a”  Welcome Back!”  party.  Register your children for our new school year and join in  looking at some of what we’ll be doing this fall.
