Sunday Sermon November 15 11am: The Resistance

change aheadRev. Roy Sniffen shares the sermon, “The Resistance.” Faced with the clear need to make changes,  something within us wants to drag out or deny the process. How can UU Principles help and what does that have to do with the words “change or die”?

Keystone Book Club leads our 3rd Sunday discussion group, this month with a look at Florence Gordon, by Brian Morton: Unexpected celebrity and long-absent family members distract a heroically cantankerous 1960s-era activist in the summer of 2009 as she reluctantly confronts the challenges of age.  It’s both mundane and remarkable, just like life itself.

In our 11:30am Youth class, we’ll  meet Michael Servetus (because we didn’t get to last month)– Terri & Tobi
will introduce the story of this 16th century Spanish theologian, physician, cartographer, and Renaissance humanist, and the role he plays in our UU Story.
