Sunday Sermon Dec. 6 11am: Celebrating Chanukah

Join us at 11am for a service celebrating and honoring all things

Prior to the service, at our 10am Community Conversations adult discussion group, we’ll be exploring “Science & Faith”. A recent Atlantic article, titled “Why Scientific Faith is different from Religious Faith,” observes that “while science and religion are as different as can be, folk science and folk religion share deep properties,” and explores the drive for religious narrative, often over science narrative.

There are no youth classes today, since children are staying in service. After the service, there will be a Chanukah party for all to enjoy!

Spirit of Life Unitarian Universalists is covenantal faith community located at 18412 Burrell Road in Odessa, FL that welcomes seekers from all spiritual, theological and philosophical backgrounds who wish to join in a free, rational and responsible search for truth and meaning in their lives.

All are welcome!
