Sunday Service September 17 11am: Homecoming

Now that Hurricane Irma has come and gone,  we’re back to the business of sharing and caring, starting with a service by guest minister, Rev. Rus Cooper-Dowda called, “Homecoming: The Sermon.”

“First, blend together school starting, early Autumn and the smell of new Religious Education supplies. Stir in some young people who think 25 is old! Cook for all our returning friends, too. What have you baked to share? ” asked Rev. Rus.  “Homecoming: The Sermon.” All welcome.”   The Spirit of Life UU choir, the Joyful Noisies, is performing this Sunday.

Sept 17 also marks our monthly potluck – bring a plate to share or just come and enjoy our shared bounty.  Our “Share the Plate” for September will also be collected this Sunday.  This month’s Share the Plate collection is being taken for the Trans Fashion Expo sponsored by Metro (LGBTQ organization in Tampa and Tampa VA)
