Sunday Service Notes for February 25: Finding Something to Dance about Every Day

Sunday, February 25 at 11am, guest minister Rev. Rus Cooper-Dowda leads the service, “Finding Something To Dance About Every Day”.

In the book of Exodus, she says, Miriam led other Hebrew women and their families across the Reed Sea with tambourines and dancing. Long ago, my toddler liked pre-school because they found something to dance about every day. Movement alleviates malaise. Let’s look at that for a time. All tambourine players, spoon clickers and bubble wrap poppers are welcome.

At 10am, before the service, the Keystone Book Club meets in the Kerwin Reading Room adjacent to the kitchen. Our February read is Camino Island by John Grisham .  Anyone can join in the Keystone Book Club at any time. While having read the book of the month enriches the book club experience, our discussions of the topics and issues raised by the books we read can be appreciated by all and participation is welcome whether or not you’ve read the book.

After the service, hear one of our members share her experiences of her working trip to Senegal recently.
