This Sunday, at our 11am service, Spirit of Life UU member Jerold Crawford will share the history of Gay Pride in America and the meaning of the colors of the Pride flag in the sermon, “The History of Gay Rights and Activism in the USA.” The story for all ages is “The History of the Rainbow Flag” Spirit of Life member Margie Hallmark will be providing our music.
After church this Sunday, join our 1st Sunday Church Lunch Bunch at a location to be announced after service.
Other News
Due to the popularity and success of the Spiritual Writing course hosted by Joe Weinstein last year, we are forming another group! This time, Joe and Loretta Buckner will co-host a bi-monthly writing workshop, loosely based on Oprah Winfrey’s “8 Writing Prompts Every Spiritual Person Should Try”
Beginning on June 10th at 9am, we will meet for an hour on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. Please bring a composition book and something to write with. Hope to see you there!
