Sunday Service Notes for June 24: Sermon – A House Divided

Sunday, June 24 at 11am, join us for the sermon “A House Divided…” with   Rev. Rus Cooper-Dowda

President Lincoln’s “A House Divided” speech and the hymnal reading “…Living With Your Best Decisions…” both address chaos that words can not automatically fix. But the good news is this: since we talk our way into messes we can also talk our way out of the same messes more slowly. Marge Piercy writes that we need our words to be like squash plants overrunning a garden. Zucchini Zen? Squash Spirituality? Come hear what’s up with that.
