Sunday Service Notes for July 29: Sermon -It Was a Dark & Stormy UU Night

Rev. Rus Cooper-Dowda shares her sermon, “It Was a Dark and Stormy UU Night” on Sunday, July 29 at 11am.

The sermon will be celebrating books that have saved us from “dark nights of the soul.,” says Rev. Rus. “We will be dancing in our seats to songs that have assured us we don’t have to be alone. It’s a veritable “Walt Whitman Sampler”of goodness! Even the book-shaped cake with the coffee celebrates the day! Angel Librarians are especially welcome!”
