This month, Freethought Fellowship goes on a field trip to the Wat Thai Temple Sunday Market in Tampa. All interested in joining us, please plan to meet at the Temple at 9am on December 8.
Formally known as Wat Mongkolratanaram of Florida (Wat Tampa) , the Thai Temple is located at 5306 Palm River Rd. in Tampa. Wat Tampa is a Buddhist religious temple for the Tampa Thai community. Each Sunday, between 8:30am and 1:30pm, the Temple hosts a Sunday market , with food, and Thai fruits and vegetables, with proceeds benefiting the Wat Tampa community.
There is no formal service at Spirit of Life UU December 8, although the church will be staffed and guests will be welcomed to visit and enjoy coffee and conversation. All are highly encouraged to join in the Freethought Fellowship visit to the Wat Tampa though.
